Production of Nubian Skin Hosiery Packaging

29th July 2014

A major step in the process of manufacturing any product is the packaging! We’re gearing up for launch, so we’ve just completed a photoshoot for our hosiery packaging :). We held the shoot at HeadShot London , which provided a great working space for our photographer David Cromer and model Soliat from the CEO dancers. We got to work laying out the accessories and setting up some goodies to sustain us for the evening ahead, while David and Andrew (junior photographer at the studio) talked lighting and equipment to bring to life our ideas.

Just look at all of these gorgeous shoes! We may have gone overboard, but what’s a girl to do?! We had some pretty amazing choices from our selection:

Shoes everywhere!!
Shoes everywhere!!

Patterned monochrome heels by Carven; canary yellow heels from Salvatore Ferragamo; white, red and black patent leather d’orsay heels by Jimmy Choo; classic red courts from L.K Bennett and buckled heeled boots by Manolo Blahnik.

Use2Soliat was great and we may have put her through the hoops a bit, but she was a good sport…leaping around in five inch heels can’t be easy.  Our hosiery in “Berry” was a perfect match for Soliat’s skin tone, and the final results are sensational. A big win for Nubian Skin!

The team effort from everyone involved: the photographer, the model and the founder of Nubian Skin enabled quick and easy transitions between outfits and shoes. Direction from both Ade and David produced images which present the product in a great light and resulted in an overall enjoyable experience.

  1. As a 53 year old woman of colour – brown girl; I cried happy tears. Your vision for us gals; of providing our hue in fashion is to be applauded.

Whipping the tear from my eye as I type this and say WELL DONE! Now get your site up. The public awaits!

  2. As a stage performer, nude fishnets are essential and impossible to find! I would love to be able to just purchase a ton for dark skin tones.
